Golf Slice Cure – Cure Your Game Instantly!

I want to let you in on a little secret. Here it goes – slicing SUCKS! Not a big shocker I know. Unfortunantly it is a fact of life that if you are a golfer you have had to deal with slicing the golf ball before. If you are like most golfers you have also probably searched for a good golf slice cure for some time. Thankfully your wish has been answered.

Now before we dive into that cure lets examine what causes a slice. Slicing the ball is primarily caused by having the club face be in an open position at impact and not squared up evenly. A major cause of this is an improper swing.

Well what can you do to fix it?

You can start by focusing on your swing plane. During your backswing you don’t want the club to be too far to the inside where it is travelling much more horizontally (around your body) than vertically (up). Often most amateur players swing on to flat of a plane. When this happens the club face is more prone to being in an open position upon impact resulting in a slice.

So what exactly should I practice then?

It will probably feel weird at first, but practice hard on starting your backswing with the club traveling nearly straight back from you and then progressing the club up (vertically). When you swing more vertically you tremendously decrease the chance of an open club face upon impact.

Finally if you are needing some help in the meantime before your comfortable with a new swing you can start by playing softer balls that have low spin. The lower spin and softer the ball the less chance that sidespin will be imparted on the ball in the event of an open club face at impact. It may still slice, but not nearly as much as if you were playing high spin hard tour balls.
